The graduate Aptitude test in Egg(GATE). It’s an all India level examination conducted by the IISc and IIT's for getting admission into ME/M. Tech etc., This serves as a BENCH-MARK for graduate students in various discipline of engineering. The students getting admission through GATE are entitled to get scholarship of 5 to 6 thousand INR on admission to colleges recognized by AICTE, NIT's, IIT's and IISc, GATE qualification can also be recognized by BAARC, DRDO & National Laboratories & research Organization for recruitment |

GATE will be held on second sunday of February every year. Duration of the exam is 3 hours. The paper is for 100 marks. |

Result will be announced on 15th March in all centers and also on the website. |

Bachelor's Degree in engg / Technology / and also those who are in the final / pre final year of such disciplines.
